He completed his medical training in France, earning his Doctor of Medicine (MD) Magna Cum Laude from Claude Bernard University Lyon 1. He trained during his residency at Nancy University Hospital, a Level I trauma centre, and holds Interstate Diplomas in Microsurgery and in Robotic Surgery.
Before joining SKMC, Dr Colson practised as a Consultant in the Paris region, handling reconstructive cases and elective aesthetic surgery. His areas of practice are facial plastic surgery, breast surgery both aesthetic and reconstructive, and body contouring.

Facial surgery restores harmony without altering identity. Deep Plane Facelift and neck lift, Preservation Rhinoplasty and Structural Rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty and otoplasty.

Reconstruction restores facial form and function after the sequelae of an injury, after the excision of a skin cancer, or where a condition is present from birth. Acute facial trauma is managed by the emergency services and is not part of this practice.
Breast surgery is a question of proportion between volume, position and symmetry. Augmentation with an implant or with fat, mastopexy, reduction and revision surgery.
Reconstruction restores the breast after a mastectomy carried out to treat cancer, using an implant, the patient’s own tissue, or lipofilling. Its timing follows the oncological plan and is decided by the multidisciplinary team.
Body contouring addresses skin that has lost its elasticity and separation of the abdominal muscles. Abdominoplasty, high definition liposuction, rib remodeling and surgery after a major weight loss. It is not a treatment for obesity.
Non-surgical treatments performed in consultation: botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, skin boosters, mesotherapy, LED biomodulation and platelet-rich plasma. Each indication is assessed individually.

Dr Colson uses three-dimensional imaging during the consultation. Its purpose is to support the conversation between patient and surgeon: it gives the two a shared object to point at when discussing proportion, position and the extent of a change.
